Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect your email and the bid preferences you choose so we can send you Solicitation Daily. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use ad trackers. You can unsubscribe or delete your data at any time.

What we collect

Information you give us: email address, optional company name, and your preferences (trades, NAICS codes, states, set-asides, plan).
Consent record: the date and time you signed up and confirmed, and the IP address used, so we can show you asked to receive email.
Payment information: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us your email, plan, and subscription status. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Email delivery data: our email provider records whether messages were delivered, bounced, or marked as spam. We use this to keep our sending healthy and to stop emailing addresses that bounce or complain.

How we use it

To send the Solicitation Daily emails you asked for, plus account messages (confirmations, receipts, important service changes).
To match public contract notices to your preferences.
To answer your questions and improve the service using aggregate, non-identifying statistics.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Solicitation Daily: website hosting and database (Cloudflare), email delivery ([EMAIL PROVIDER]), and payments (Stripe). They may use your data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your choices

Unsubscribe with one click from any email. We act on it right away, and always within 10 business days.
Change preferences using the "Manage preferences" link in any email.
Access or delete your data by emailing us. We'll delete your record within 30 days, except what we must keep for tax or legal reasons (for example, payment records) and a suppression entry so we never email you again by mistake.

Retention and security

We keep your information while you are subscribed and delete inactive unsubscribed records after 24 months, except for suppression entries. Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with our hosting provider. Manage and unsubscribe links contain a random private token. Don't forward emails if you don't want others to change your settings.

Children

Solicitation Daily is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we make material changes we'll update this page and the effective date, and tell subscribers by email.
